• Underage drinking will not be allowed at any time, and proof of age may be requested.
• We will not carry more passengers than our insurance cover allows.
• Smoking or Illegal drugs in the vehicle is not permitted.
• We will not allow any person/persons to hang or shout abuse out of the vehicle or
windows.
• We cannot be held responsible for any personal items in our cars during or after your
hire.
• Any extra requests or alterations to the booking (i.e. additional pickup points, change
of venue, causing extra mileage or time) not made at the time of the booking /
confirmation cannot necessarily be entertained, although every effort will be made to
meet these requirements.
• The Company or it's representative (e.g. chauffeur), reserves the right to refuse entry to
the vehicle to any person / persons they deem unfit for whatsoever reason and can
refuse to continue the journey if any person / persons behave in a manner which may
be detrimental to other persons or to the vehicle and it's contents. In this event no
refund will be given.
• The Hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and
outside the vehicle/s by The Hirer or any member of his / her party, or by incitement to
any third party however caused. The hirer will be liable for all costs of the repair; the
location of the repair will be at the discretion of Sophisticars.
• Any breakage or damage to the vehicle will be charged to the Hirer (person who
placed the booking).
• The Hirer is liable for all glassware breakages at a replacement cost of £10.00 per
glass and £30 per decanter.
• The hirer will be charged the sum of £150.00 for valeting if the hirer or a member of
the party vomits or spills food/drink in or on the vehicle.
• In the event of cancellation, any deposit paid will be forfeited.
• Your car will arrive at the appointed time unless we are unable to do so due to
circumstances beyond our control.
• If the car should breakdown during your journey the chauffeur will obtain car/cars
from the nearest location, so your journey can continue on to your destination.
• Every effort will be made to get you to your destination on time but we cannot be held
responsible for traffic jams, road works or bad weather conditions.
• No responsibility will be accepted for missed connections and / or functions, how so
ever caused.
• Any costs incurred during the hire will be settled in full with the chauffeur before the
end of the booking.
• By signing and returning the Booking Confirmation Form the Hirer has entered into a
binding contract with The Company.
• The Company's discretion shall be decided by the Owners of Sophisticars at all times
and their decisions will be fully binding in all matters.
